For tour operators, alumni programmes and incentive houses
Your clients, your brand.
Our ground, all of it.
Umnya designs and runs private groups across Morocco for the companies that sell them: alumni and educational travel operators, incentive houses, offsite planners and specialist agencies. You keep the client and the name on the trip. We are the part nobody sees.
Who works with us this way
Four kinds of company buy a ground operator. They do not need the same thing from one, so we say what each of them gets.
Alumni and educational travel operators
Scholar-led programmes for university alumni associations and institutions. A lecture room when the programme has one, a pace that leaves time to read, and a route that goes further than the one every other programme runs.
Incentive houses
The trip reserved for the top performers, not the whole convention. Eight to twenty people who have already been everywhere, and a week they cannot compare to any of it.
Offsite and retreat planners
Leadership offsites, executive-education residencies and retreats for networks of company heads. Working sessions in the morning, terrain in the afternoon, and a three-day format when the constraint is a diary.
Specialist and luxury agencies
Agencies selling private journeys to their own clients, including specialist operators whose travellers value discretion. One group at a time, our own staff, and no front desk between your clients and their rooms.
What a ground operator should give you, and usually does not
Most programmes to Morocco run the same route: the imperial cities, then one night at Merzouga or no desert at all. The difference is not the brochure. It is what sits under it.
A desert nobody else sends groups to
Our own permanent camp in Erg Chigaga, sixty kilometres of piste beyond the last paved road, with no other group on it. It takes chartered helicopters on its own pad, so a short programme can fly in and drive out.
One group at a time
Not a block of tents inside someone else's operation. Larger programmes are split into groups that never share the camp on the same night.
Answers in writing before you sell
Drive time from each site to the nearest hospital, where mobile signal ends, the contingency for a closed pass. Your clients will ask, and your sales team should not have to guess.
Guides who fit the group
Our guides work in English, French and Arabic. If a group needs Spanish or Portuguese throughout, we tell you at the quote stage whether we can staff it, rather than discovering it on the first morning.
For alumni programmes: further than Merzouga
Most alumni programmes to Morocco follow one proven itinerary: Rabat, Fez, Marrakech, the High Atlas, and a sunset at Merzouga. It sells, and it is exactly what the alumni who travelled last year have already done.
The route we would build for a returning audience keeps the imperial cities and ends somewhere else: Erg Chigaga, four hours beyond the end of the tarmac, two nights with no other group, and a lecture under a sky with no town in it. Your faculty, your brand, your pricing. Our ground.
For incentive houses: the top fifteen, not the three hundred
We do not run conventions. A three-hundred-person incentive needs a hotel ballroom and a different operator, and we say so in the first call.
What we run is the trip above that: the fifteen people who hit their number, the leadership team, the partners worth keeping. A private camp, a helicopter in, and a week that looks nothing like the one their competitors' sales teams went on.
How far it is
Flights are the traveller's, but distance still decides the programme. Here is what is verified.
From the Americas
Royal Air Maroc flies nonstop to Casablanca from New York JFK, Washington Dulles, Miami and São Paulo. From JFK it is about seven hours.
From Europe
Marrakech and Tangier are short flights from most European capitals. Tangier is the closest point to Europe, with Spain visible across the strait.
Into the desert
Marrakech to M'Hamid is about four hundred and fifty kilometres, then sixty of piste to the camp. By chartered helicopter from Marrakech, it is a morning.
How working with us works
A net rate, and your price
We quote a net rate per person covering everything on the ground. What your client pays is your business. We do not publish rates, and we never quote your clients behind you.
Your name on the trip
The programme runs under your brand. We do not contact your clients afterwards, we do not sell them anything, and nothing we film is used without your agreement.
Dates held early
The camp, the guides and the houses we use are committed eight to ten months ahead. On a dedicated departure we hold ground published nowhere and turn other groups away for those dates.
What operators ask first
- Can you operate under our brand?
- Yes. The programme, the documents and the client relationship are yours. We are the ground operator, a role best performed without a logo on it.
- What group sizes do you take?
- Eight to twenty per group. Larger programmes are split into groups that never share the camp on the same night. We do not run conventions for hundreds.
- Do you work with alumni and educational travel programmes?
- That is the kind of programme our routes and the camp suit best: scholar-led, small, and often for a returning audience that has already done the standard itinerary. We provide a lecture room when the programme needs one.
- How are rates quoted?
- As a net rate per person covering accommodation, all meals, ground transfers, guides and the programme. International flights are not included. Rates are given in the first exchange rather than published.
- Can a short programme reach the deep desert?
- Yes. The camp has its own helipad for chartered helicopters, so a three-day programme can fly in from Marrakech and drive out through the Draa valley and the High Atlas.
- Which languages do your guides speak?
- English, French and Arabic. If a group needs Spanish or Portuguese throughout, we tell you at the quote stage whether we can staff it.
- When does the desert season run?
- Late September to early June. The camp does not open in July or August. Coastal and city programmes run year-round.
- How far ahead should we plan?
- Eight to ten months for a specific departure in high season. The ground we use is committed earlier than most operators expect.
- What safety information do you provide?
- In writing, before you sell: drive time from each site to the nearest hospital, where mobile signal ends, and the contingency for each route. Dietary and medical requirements are collected in writing before booking.
- Do you handle flights?
- No. Flights, insurance and visas stay with the traveller or with you. We are a ground operator in Morocco, not a travel agency.
Send us the programme you already sell.
The route, the group size and the season. We come back with what we would change, a net rate, and the dates we can hold.
Start a conversation→No commitment. If the season or the fit is wrong, we say so first.
