Umnya was born from a simple belief: that the places where we choose to be present shape who we become. That a week in the Sahara does something to a person that no clinic, no app, and no supplement can replicate.
We are not anti-technology. Many of our partners — Oura Ring, WHOOP, Eight Sleep — make the science of longevity measurable. But we believe measurement without meaning is noise. Umnya is where the data becomes a story.

Every Umnya destination is chosen for its capacity to transform. The Sahara dunes of Erg Chigaga. The high passes of the Atlas. The Atlantic coast at Taghazout. We do not go somewhere because it is convenient. We go because it is irreplaceable.

Born in Casablanca, Anas has made Marrakech his home for fifteen years — long enough to know every route through the High Atlas, every dune formation worth crossing in Erg Chigaga, and every riad in the medina worth trusting. Twenty years on the ground across Morocco, guiding desert raids, producing large-scale luxury events, and moving groups through environments most operators consider unreachable.
He knows where the silence is deepest, which camp has no equal at dawn, and how to orchestrate an eight-day experience for fourteen people in a wilderness without a single detail left to chance. That is not instinct. It is two decades of accumulated knowledge that cannot be delegated or replicated.
