Umnya. · Private Longevity Retreats in Morocco

You bring the people. We build the week.

Umnya designs and runs retreats in Morocco for studios, coaches, clubs, clinics and brands. You keep the teaching, the brand and the community. We hold the ground, the guides, the licence, and everything that goes wrong four hours from a road.

The proposition

Three things make Umnya rare.

01

The ground

The setting is not a backdrop, it is the constraint that makes the week work. The Sahara at Erg Chigaga, where we own the camp sixty kilometres past the last tarmac. The High Atlas at 2,400 metres. The Atlantic at Taghazout. We drove these routes and slept in these places before any of them went on sale, and we say no to the ones that photograph better than they live.

02

Your method, not ours

We do not impose a programme. We host yours. A week is built with one partner: a studio, a club or a clinic that brings its own community, its own coaches and its own philosophy. We handle the ground, the logistics, the licence and the culture. One partner per category, per city, per season.

03

A culture that is not decoration

The oldest longevity practice on the planet is still alive here. Walking at dawn, eating from the earth, sleeping under open sky, gathering around fire. The Amazigh have done these things for a thousand years without naming them. Your group is placed in their landscape, guided by their people, eating from the cooperatives we buy from. It is not an excursion bolted onto the week. It is the week.

Weeks we have designed

Five to begin with.

Not a shop window. These are weeks we have built and run, shown so you can see what we do before you ask us to do it for you.

What we turn down

An agency is defined by what it refuses. These four constraints cost us work every season, and they are the reason the weeks are what they are.

One group at a time
We never run two groups in the same place in the same week. It halves what we could earn from the camp and it is the entire reason a guest never meets a stranger on a dune.
The desert closes in July and August
It is too hot for the camp to open, and no arrangement changes that. We say no to those weeks rather than sell a version of the Sahara nobody enjoys. The Atlantic is a different matter and stays open all summer.
One partner per category, per city
If a studio in Lisbon works with us, no competing Lisbon studio does that season. It costs us the second and third deal in every city, and it is why the first one is worth having.
Eight to twenty, never more
Above twenty a retreat becomes a tour: the guide stops knowing names, the long table splits, and the week turns into a schedule. We would rather turn away the twenty-first guest.

Tell us who you bring.

One conversation, one contact, and we build the week around your community. You keep the teaching, the brand and the relationship.
