What a private commission is.
Our published retreats run on fixed dates, with a small group of travellers who do not know each other. A private commission works the other way round. You bring the group, the window and the intention. We build everything else around it.
There is no catalogue on this page and no departure to book. Each commission is written from a blank page, produced by the same field team, and opened to one group only.

The Sahara camp, yours alone
A full buyout of our private desert camp in the erg. No other travellers, no shared silence. Your own arrival, your own table, your own nights under the stars.
A retreat built on your theme
Longevity, silence, endurance, photography, a family anniversary, a company chapter that deserves more than a hotel. We draw the days around the subject you bring.
A family or a circle of friends, taken care of end to end
From the moment you land to the moment you leave. Met at the aircraft, riads or camps held privately, every transfer, every meal, every guide arranged by one team.
The people you want beside you
A chef flown in for the week, a doctor, a teacher, a musician, a guide who knows one valley better than anyone. If they matter to your group, we bring them.

You write to us
A few lines are enough. Who is travelling, roughly when, and what you have in mind. We reply personally within 24 hours.

A written proposal within a week
The terrain, the houses, the rhythm, the people who would look after you, and what it takes to hold the dates. Written for you, sent to you alone.

You decide, or you do not
Nothing is held until you say so. No commitment at any point, and no follow-up you did not ask for.
What never changes
Whatever we build, three things hold.
The same field team
The guides, drivers and camp crew who run our own retreats. Not a subcontracted roster assembled for the week.
One group at a time
We never run two operations in parallel. The attention you are given is not divided.
Discretion
No names, no images, no mention of your journey anywhere. Nothing we produce for you is ever shown to anyone else.
