Eight days. Complete silence. Total reset.
Silence Retreat
Not a vipassana. Not a monastery. Eight days of complete silence in the Sahara, the Atlas, or the Rif, guided movement, local meals, breathwork, all without words. Co-created for your group.
The experience
Silence Retreat
The word 'retreat' is etymologically accurate only when it means what this does: a withdrawal from the conditions that make your ordinary life possible. Complete silence removes the social performance that governs most waking hours, the management of impression, the monitoring of social standing, the energy spent on small talk that is actually large work. What emerges in its place is documented in the neuroscience: a 2013 Duke University study found that two days of acoustic silence stimulated measurable neurogenesis in the hippocampus, the brain region most associated with memory consolidation, spatial navigation, and emotional regulation. Eight days produces a qualitatively different experience. Meals are eaten in silence. Walking is done in silence. Breathwork and yoga are conducted without verbal instruction after the first session, through demonstration only. The guides do not speak. The landscape does not need to. Morocco at silence, the call to prayer at 5am in the Sahara, the wind through Atlas cedar forests, the Atlantic on a November morning, produces a relationship with place that is impossible when the auditory field is occupied by conversation.
