A long table in the Moroccan desert at dusk

For founders whose customers follow a person

Your people would follow you anywhere.
You have nowhere to take them.

You built something on your own judgement, and an audience that trusts it. Once a year a dozen of them would pay to spend a week inside it. What has been missing is the week, and everything underneath a week.

Who this is built for

Not an industry so much as a shape of business: one where the customer followed a person before they followed a product. If that is yours, the category matters less than you think.

Beauty, skincare and fragrance

Your customers buy your judgement about their own face. That is a more intimate trust than most retreat leaders ever earn, and unlike a product it travels. A week is the only format that lets them stand inside the taste they have been buying in thirty millilitre bottles.

Fashion, jewellery and accessories

Your customers already dress for a life they would like more of. A week is the closest they come to living in the brand rather than wearing it, and it is the one thing a competitor cannot copy by next season.

Interiors, ceramics and objects

You sell how a room should feel. A great deal of what that trade sells is made in Morocco, and a week here can include the workshops it comes from: zellige cut by hand, tadelakt, the potters at Safi, brass in the Marrakech souk. Your people meet the makers instead of the catalogue.

Naturopaths, nutritionists and dieticians

Your clients need a reset far more than they need another protocol, and you already know which of them would come. You need no studio, no premises and no travel licence: we are the licensed operator and the regulatory exposure sits with us.

Food, wine and hospitality

Your community already travels to eat. We buy from the cooperatives directly, cook at 2,700 metres, and put one long table under a sky with no town for sixty kilometres. It is a harder act to follow than a tasting menu.

Writers, editors, podcasters and curators

You have the warmest audience on this page and the least to sell them. They have been offered a newsletter and a book and nothing else. Twelve of them is a week, and it is the only thing you can offer that scales down rather than up.

You do not have to teach anything

This is the first question every founder asks, and the answer is why this page exists separately from the one written for coaches.

You host. You do not lead.

There is no class to give, no protocol to run and no qualification to hold. Your job for the week is to be there and to be yourself at dinner, which is the thing your community is actually paying for. Everything with a schedule attached to it is ours.

Your taste is the programme

We build the week with you: what your people should eat, wake up to, walk through and take home. If you have opinions about how a table should be set and what a morning should feel like, you already have everything this requires.

If the week needs a teacher, that is ours to find

A yoga teacher, a breathwork guide, a chef, a hammam, a ceramicist, a guide who knows which valley to walk at which hour. We source them, we pay them, and they answer to the programme rather than to you.

Nothing here requires you to be a wellness brand

A perfumer's week and a nutritionist's week are built differently and neither is a retreat in the yoga sense of the word. We have no house format to defend, which is the whole advantage of an operator over a retreat company.

The twelve people, and how you find them

The second question, always. It is a smaller problem than it looks, because you are not selling to an audience. You are inviting a list.

You already know who they are

Not your largest followers. Your repeat customers: the ones who buy every release, reply to your emails, message you directly and tell their friends. You could write their names down this afternoon, which is not true of any advertising you have ever bought.

The ask is smaller than it sounds

You are not selling a product at fifty times your usual price. You are inviting people to something, once, and the people who say yes were going to travel this year anyway. A first week fills from a list and a series of conversations, not from a launch.

You build nothing

We give you a private page for your group, the day-by-day schedule, the images and written answers to the questions your people will ask. You send a link. Nothing to design, nothing to write, nothing to check with a lawyer.

You carry nothing

Your people book with us and pay us directly. No deposit to advance, no float to cover, no refund to process out of the company account. If a week does not fill we move it or cancel it before anything is non-refundable, and you have lost time rather than capital.

How this pays you, if you want it to

We do not publish rates. A number on a public page becomes a ceiling in every conversation that follows, so you get it in the first exchange. What we will say publicly is that no arrangement here requires you to spend anything first.

The rate

A net rate, and you set the price

One rate per person covering everything on the ground. What your community pays is your decision. Run it at cost as a gift to your best customers, or with a margin: both are legitimate and neither is our business.

Your place

Your own seat, free

From eight paying guests your place costs you nothing. Below eight it is a place at cost, which is not us being difficult: at four guests a free seat consumes more than a third of what the week earns, and a partnership that loses money does not get a second year.

What you keep

Everything filmed that week is yours

A photographer and a videographer work through the week and you keep all of it, with no time limit and no approval to ask for. For most founders this alone is worth more than the margin, because it is a year of material shot somewhere nobody else can shoot.

What we do, and where it stops

Being precise about this early saves a difficult conversation later.

Ours, from the moment they land

Choosing the places and testing them before anything is sold. Building the week around you. Every road transfer, vehicle and driver. The guides. All meals, from the long lunch to the fire at the camp. Permits, the Moroccan operator licence, insurance, and what happens when something goes wrong four hours from a road.

Not ours

International flights. Each guest books their own, and we say so on every page rather than absorb a cost we cannot control. Travel insurance, visas and passports are theirs too. We are a ground operator in Morocco, not a travel agency, and the distinction is the difference between a licence we hold and one we do not.

What founders ask first

Do I have to lead sessions?
No. You host. If you want to run something yourself we will build the week around it, and if you would rather not, the programme is entirely ours to staff. Plenty of founders spend the week as a guest with their name on the door, which is a legitimate and often better version.
Our brand has nothing to do with wellness. Does this still work?
It works better, usually. A wellness brand takes its community somewhere they already go. A fragrance house, a ceramics studio or a food publication takes them somewhere they never expected, and the surprise is most of the value. We build the week to your world, not to a retreat template.
How many people do we need?
Groups run from eight to twenty. For a first outing, eight to twelve is usually right: small enough that everyone is chosen, large enough that the week has energy. You do not need an audience in the hundreds of thousands. You need twelve people who would get on a plane because you will be there.
What does it cost us?
Nothing upfront. No seats to buy, no minimum purchase, no unsold inventory. On a private date a deposit holds the camp, the guides and the vehicles, and it comes off the final balance rather than being added to it.
What will our community pay?
You decide. We invoice a net rate per person covering everything on the ground in Morocco, and what you charge above it, or whether you charge anything above it, is entirely your call.
What if it does not fill?
We agree a decision date before anything is non-refundable. On that date we confirm, move the week, or cancel it at no cost to you. You will never be asked to cover empty places, and we will not run a week so thin that it disappoints the customers you spent years earning.
Can we film it and use the material?
Yes, and it is part of what you get rather than an extra. We bring a photographer and a videographer, and everything from the week is handed over for your own use with no time limit. What you cannot get anywhere else is the location: a permanent camp sixty kilometres of piste past the last paved road, which is not a set anyone can rent.
Whose name is on the week?
Yours. The programme, the communication and the relationship belong to you. We are the ground operator, a role best performed without a logo on it.
When should we go?
The desert runs from late September to early June, because July and August are too hot in the Sahara for the camp to open. The Atlantic coast and the mountains do not close, and summer weeks there are available on request. Plan eight to ten months ahead: the camps and guides we use are held earlier than most people expect.
Do you handle flights?
No, and deliberately. Each guest books their own flights, insurance and visa. We are a licensed ground operator in Morocco, not a travel agency, and the distinction is not pedantic.

Twelve people, one week, once a year.

Tell us what you make, roughly how many people would come and when your year has a gap in it. We come back with a date, a format and a net rate, and you decide the rest.
